What is SaveAway®?

SaveAway® enables users to save for and buy what they need without debt, either via a button in the checkout flow of selected retailers or via our own web app. Select a product or two, leverage the wisdom of your trusted circle of friends and family to decide on a specific purchase, then create a plan that builds up your SaveAway® wallet via auto pay. Once the funds are amassed, SaveAway® ensures that you receive your purchase. Those longed-for big-ticket purchases are now achievable.

How does SaveAway® work?

1. Discover: Select products available from leading merchants on our platform or elsewhere, and get advice from friends and family to make confident purchase decisions.
2. Plan: Create a “Personalized Saving Plan” that fits your resources. Enter your bank details and your SaveAway® wallet (held by our FDIC-insured partner) grows via auto pay. You can even build a custom plan using a URL from any other store.
3. Achieve: Monitor progress toward your purchase goal. Once your wallet balance reaches the goal, SaveAway® ensures the product is delivered to your doorstep or pickup location.

Who are your FDIC-insured financial partners?

Currently, our financial partner is Huntington Bank (Huntington Bancshares Incorporated), headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We plan to expand our network of partners as we grow.

Can I have more than one plan?

At the moment, users can have one active plan at a time. Many users start a new plan once they complete one. We plan to support multiple simultaneous plans in the near future.

I live outside the US. Are there additional foreign exchange transfer fees?

SaveAway does not charge foreign exchange fees. However, your bank or payment provider may apply their own currency conversion or international transfer fees when funding your plan. We recommend checking with your provider before transferring funds.

I live outside the US. Are there additional shipping fees?

The retailer’s delivery policy applies.

Can I fund my plan using a crypto exchange account?

We are developing secure on-chain rails using USDC, which will allow you to fund plans directly from any compatible crypto exchange or wallet. Stay tuned for updates!
